What kind of Wisdom (Jeremiah 8:9)

Reflection:
When we fall down we tend to analyze what made us fall down and try to repeat the same mistake. But many times in our life we sin and keep sinning repeatedly without understanding and removing it from our life. It is due to the ignorance of God’s word in our life.

Personal Story:
My eldest son loves to play Lego puzzle. But his love for the game hastens him to ignore the step by step instructions making him to open all the packets at one go and then fumbling to get it sorted out and in the process gets a unintended design outcome. Let us not skip instructions and follow God as he leads us from step to step.

Practical Application:
In today’s busy life schedule running from morning to night  let us not skip the instructions towards gaining wisdom and it starts right from the word of God. The word instructs on our daily life and helps us to follow the plan God has for us so we can live a life that God has intended us to live. It is a step by step guide for a wholesome living.

Call to Devotion:
In 1 Samuel 15 we see how disobedience to fully obey by Saul sees him rejected by God. Let us come to his presence setting aside all the busyness of this world and learn to spend time hearing his voice, obeying it with all our hearts. Remember, partial obedience is Disobedience. Lets learn to obey Gods word fully.
