Living Worthy through Wisdom(Colossians1:9-10)

Reflection:

Knowledge acquired is for us to be impacted and be changed through it. As we move around meeting people, Are we praying that the People we meet be impacted with their understanding of God in their life? We are called to pray faithfully for the people around us so that they also be filled with the Wisdom of God and they walk in a way where they bear fruits that pleases God.

Personal Story:

Many times I observe how my Children easily learn things by seeing and spending time with me. This prompted me to Worship and Pray intentionally before them and with them aside I prayed using simple words so that its easy for them to remember. It made me realize that when we live a life according to what Jesus has commanded and obey his words we can make a impact in the society we live. And when we take the next step to pray for them we see how their lives are also impacted and they being strengthened in God.

Application:

How do we live our life today? Let us take a decision to live a life worthy of what God has called us. It starts from our home. As parents are we leading our Children towards their understanding of God. Are they growing in the knowledge of God. Are we praying for them to be led by the wisdom of God or are we just looking at them helplessly pondering what to do to bring them towards God. It starts with our life, let us live a worthy life in every ways bearing good fruits for our Children to see, learn and grow so that they also live a life worthy in the way God has called them.

Call to devotion:

Jesus taught the Disciples and they were given the mandate to go out and make disciples. The disciples  lived out his teachings by following his example, preaching the gospel, helping others and praying for others. Today let us pray for the Wisdom of God in the way we live our life and reach out to others and pray for them so that they also be be discipled to be a disciple of Jesus.
