Deep Insights ( Philippians 1:9 -11)
Reflection:
We are called to Pray for the people around us so that they would experience the love of Christ through the Knowledge of Christ. This comes through understanding what Jesus Christ has done for you and me.
Paul Wrote the Book of Philippians during his imprisonment, his situation did not deter him but it was an opportunity for him to spread the Good news of Christ and to encourage those who were in Christ. He had deeper insight on his relationship with Christ and spreading the Gospel was more important than his situation.
Illustration:
George Müller, a renowned Christian pastor, believed deeply in the power of prayer and lived his life completely dependent on God’s provision through prayer, impacting countless people by demonstrating how to trust God fully, particularly through his ministry of caring for thousands of orphans without ever directly asking for money, relying solely on God’s answers to prayer to meet their needs; his example encouraged others to live with unwavering faith in God’s ability to provide for their needs as well.
Application:
Today when we see others walking down the path of destruction do we pray for them or ignore them, we are called to walk according to Gods instruction at the same time pray for others, encourage others so that they too would be able to grow and have a discerning heart which can differentiate what is right and wrong. Let us live a life today demonstrating the path of life through our conduct and praying for others to be impacted so that they would discern in their walk of life through their insight that comes from Knowing God.
Call to devotion:
Today let our Joy be grounded in our relationship with Christ and let not our current situations slow us down but continue to pray for the people to hold on to Christ and live a fruitful life through the knowledge of Jesus Christ.
