Wisdom and Righteous Living (Proverbs 15:33)

Reflection :

We all know that the path to life is narrow and the path to destruction is wide. To  live righteously is to live a life walking closely and holding hands with God. Walking closely with God requires Focusing on God , listening to his voice, allowing God to hold our hands and guide us through .

Walking closely with keeps unwanted diversions and sin in our life and helps us to follow the Shepherd of our life.

Personal Story:

We once were going out for a family trip , we were driving in different cars, in my excitement I went ahead  faster from others and ended up losing my path. I had a hard time finding my route back, eventually reaching the destination late.

Sometimes in our life, we take hasty decisions rather than asking God to guide us, these decisions can look promising, fancy and fun. But any walk of life without God leads us to confusion and chaos resulting in destruction.

Practical Application :

What are the decisions that I need to take today? Have I asked God for his guidance. Are we neglecting God in our daily life. Do we approach him only when matters get worse. Let us ask God for his guidance in every decision be it big or small. His guidance brings us closer to enjoy a special relationship with HIM and equips us to living righteously when we realize his Love us and the cost he bore for our sins.

Call to devotion :

Bible says God’s word is a light to our path and a lamp to my feet. Let us receive the word of God  to help us discern the path of life and the path to sin and choose to live righteously.
