Wisdom and Wealth ( Proverbs 22:4)

Reflection:

If we need Wisdom, we need to go after it. It takes a determined decision to search for it no matter how difficult the road can become. This is not a once in a lifetime but a daily process. Wisdom is found in no one else except God. It is God who is the provider of Wisdom and let us humble ourselves before God to live a meaningful and purposeful life that God has chosen us for.

Personal Story :

When I was growing up, I used to view myself in pride and used to spend time looking at the mirror, more concerned about how others perceived me, it was the inner urge to be popular among my classmates. When I started following Jesus I understood the true meaning of humility. It is not about thinking low or high about myself but looking at our own self in a biblical way. Understanding that despite my shortcomings, I am still here because of His great Love. That changed the whole perspective on the way I started looking and started to seek God being Thankful for his blessings.

Practical Application :

Fear of the Lord is being sensitive in all our ways of doing things in ways that pleases HIM. Let’s remember one thing, every decision that we take do we ask God for his guidance and does my action glorify God. When we ask God to help us in our every decision of our life we see how we become fruitful and how God raises up to be his vessel filled up with His good gifts in our life.

Call to Devotion :

When threatened by the Assyrian army, Hezekiah humbled himself before God by tearing his clothes and praying fervently, leading to God’s intervention and deliverance from the enemy. Today let us humble ourselves and seek God in all humbleness and allow God to lead and deliver us from our situations and live a life filled with Love, Joy and Peace.
